5 Snacks I love on my weight loss journey #1

My top 5 snacks for weightloss

I have learned on my weight loss journey that it takes time and a lot of patience. It's more than just diet. It's a mindset and working out what works for you! I have failed at every diet they is apart from calorie counting, as I am in control. Finding foods I love made a massive difference to me. I will share some of my favourites, this will be the first post on Snacks I love on my weight loss journey.

Looking out in supermarkets for low-calorie options or high protein is something I like to look out for. I like to make the most out of my calories.

Check out this week's top 5 weight loss snacks

UFIT High Protein Shakes - These have been a favourite of mine for so many months now! I have always been a milkshake fan and these are pretty close to being like a thick milkshake! They have 25g of protein and are around about 160 calories per shake!

My favourite flavours have to be white chocolate and millionaires shortbread, delicious! I always get these on offer in Morrisons.

Lindahl's Protein Pudding - These come in two different flavours; vanilla and chocolate. My favourite is chocolate, it's like a decadent treat but only 104 calories per pot and 14g of protein to help keep you full! I love having them with some sliced strawberries.

Fibre One Bars in Birthday Cake - Over the past year or two, Fibre one has brought out a few delicious additions to their low calories cake selections. Birthday cake is one of my favourites and is less than 100 calories per bake. They work so well warmed up with a dollop of ice cream or a drop of custard.

Snack a Jacks in Sweet Chilli -  In the mornings I like to have av some fish and a rice cake... haha, Iconic! I love sweet chilli snacks a jacks, they are a nice alternative to crisps and have less than 100 calories per packet.

Fage Total 0% - This is a strained greek yoghurt that's just bursting with protein! I love adding honey or fruit to this and wow, it's like a treat! I love enjoying these yoghurts most days. You get so much yoghurt for the calories.

Only 54 calories per 100g of yoghurt!? isn't that mad!

  1. Thank you for sharing these ideas! I'm not on a weight loss journey, but if I'm looking for slightly "healthier" snacks, I usually go for pops (crisps). Yogurt is a staple for me too, especially if it has live cultures :)
